Sundays are usually very calm days to get all my stuff together for the week to start. But, with this weekend being a three day weekend for MLK day it allowed for me to get out and enjoy the weekend a little longer. A big part of my weekends have a lot to do with my boyfriend. But he’s more than just that he’s like my best friend. Not all but most weekends we usually enjoy each others company and go out to eat or do fun activities. This weekend though we went to Dairy Queen and bought some ice cream sundaes. Colorado has been having crazy weather the past few weeks and if you live here then you know the struggle. Sunday felt like it was Spring out because the sun was shining through and when it hits your body it gave off some warmth. This is what made it the perfect day to go and get some ice cream. Sitting down and enjoying the company of another person and just talking and laughing is just so therapeutic. It brings relief to my soul and makes me feel at ease. I know that I am young but being able to love another person who isn’t part of your family is such a beautiful thing. Having your significant other as you best friend is probably one of the coolest things in the world and I hope everyone gets to experience something like that at least once in their lifetime. You become in sync with each other and end up enjoying a lot of the same things.
