What a beautiful day it was outside yesterday. The sun was shining and the birds were outside chirping. The time change couldn’t have happened on a better day because the sun was out and it had finally felt like it was beginning to be Spring. Sunday mornings are my mornings to cook a good breakfast. This week I had decided to do something that I could do fast but something that would taste good. The first thing that came to mind was a BLT which is a sandwich that has bacon, lettuce, and tomato. I don’t know if this is considered a breakfast food, I would say that it is more of a brunch food. During the weekends I usually don’t wake up early so my breakfasts are always considered a brunch. To make a BLT though is pretty simple. You want to have some bacon, bread, lettice, and tomato ready. You start by putting the bacon in a frying pan on medium to high heat. Let it cook for a few minutes on one side and then flip it on the other; cooking bacon is all based on preference so if you like it crispy then let it cook for longer. Once the bacon is done you want to get your bread and put it in the toaster so it has a nice crunch when you bite into it. Upon taking it out of the toaster I usually put mayo on both pieces of my bread but you can put whatever your preferences are. All while doing that you want to make sure that you washed your veggies and cut them into reasonable pieces. Now that everything is ready you put it all into your sandwich and voila, it’s ready to eat!
